BizzyCar
We turned BizzyCar’s prototype into a full-fledged web application, enabling automotive dealerships to manage vehicle recalls effortlessly.
We created an interactive mobile app for expanding the "Che Boludo!" book's scope and bringing its experience to life. By incorporating new content and social media sharing features, we provided users with an engaging way to explore Argentine culture and language in everyday contexts.
"Che Boludo!" started as a book written by a U.S. ex-pat living in Argentina. The book dives deep into the nuances of Argentine slang, idioms, and expressions, serving as a guide for anyone looking to understand the local dialect. Seeking to enhance the learning experience and reach a broader audience, the author wanted to go beyond the book’s pages and connect with a global audience through a mobile app.
Our client aimed to create an app that would not just complement the book but also bring it to life. To meet these goals, the challenge was to design an app that was:
To achieve this, the app needed to include exciting content like videos, audio recordings, a dynamic dictionary, and interactive features, all while maintaining an intuitive interface and cross-platform compatibility.
“They were very open to all my ideas. I am fairly primitive when it comes to technology. It all started with a book and then the app idea came to me. It was like I was breaking new ground, and they really helped me figure it out with great ideas on how to make it work.”
James Bracken, FounderWe chose a hybrid app approach to meet the client's needs to speed up development and keep costs down.
This allowed us to create one app for both iOS and Android, without doubling the workload. We released a beta version early on to gather user feedback and fine-tune the experience. Inside the app, we built a custom browser to neatly organize content by topic for easy access, enhancing the learning experience.
We also integrated video playback with multilingual subtitles to provide an audiovisual dimension to the language-learning process. For a social touch, we added a feature that lets users create images with Argentine phrases and share them directly on social media.
Our comprehensive approach extended the book’s reach and transformed it into an interactive language tool. The app delivered significant benefits for the "Che Boludo!" community:
This project breathed new life into the "Che Boludo!" book, transforming it into an engaging platform that turned language learning into an exciting journey.
“I have nothing but good things to say. Seta Workshop was excellent to work with. They did the full app development for me and put it all together. They had great ideas and took the reins completely.”
